After agreeing to a contract extension, Manchester City has confirmed that midfielder Bernardo Silva will stay with the team.
The 29-year-old has added another year to his existing contract at the Etihad Stadium, keeping him with the team through June 2026.
The Portuguese playmaker’s future has been the subject of rumors over the summer, including speculation that he may move to Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, or the Saudi Pro League.
Silva, though, has pledged his loyalty to the Premier League champions, where he has played since arriving for €50 million in 2017 from Monaco.
He had five Premier League championships throughout his time in Manchester, and in June he eventually won the Champions League.
