Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes has finally agreed personal terms with Manchester United and a deal is expected to be finalized within days, according to reports.
Gazzeto dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira has revealed that the playmaker from Portugal, has agreed to a 5-year contract worth £100,000 per week with the Old Trafford club.
Even though some fans from the camp of the Red Devils have doubts over the flying reports others are still believe their club has the right resources and management to pull of this deal.
Doubters are still not convinced even after Bruno expressed signs of his departure after tearing up after his goal during the Sporting’s 3-1 defeat of Setubal.
Report has it that the transfer negotiations are ‘significantly advanced’ between the two clubs, with the main details already agreed.
The transfer fee will be €60 million (around £51 million) with an extra €10 million (£8.5 million).
It is believed that the transfer move could be done early in the week, although Sporting president Frederico Varandas has been trying stall the move until after Sporting play Benfica in the Lisbon derby on Friday.
It appears virtually convinced now that the 25-year-old will marry the Red Devils in the coming days, possibly even in time to feature against Liverpool on Sunday.
