The Crystal Palace F.C and Ghana Black Star player Jordan Ayew has confirmed he has tested positive for coronavirus.
Jordan Ayew who recently played for Ghana in two international friendlies was left out in the Crystal Palace clash against rival Brighton which ended in a 1:1 draw in the league on Sunday.
Decision to leave Ayew out of the squad follows concern of an outbreak of the noble disease (Coronavirus) among several Black Stars players that played in the recent friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
Many speculations developed as to why Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson would choose to drop their first choice striker.
However, Jordan Ayew has confirm he has contracted the coronavirus through his official twitter page.

Some football fans have been left gutted following his confirmation and have sent well wishes to him.
