Al-Hilal made an offer for Fulham’s striker Aleksandar Mitrovic that was estimated to be worth £25 million.
The attacker had a fantastic season for the team last year and still has three years left on his Craven Cottage deal. He scored 14 Premier League goals during that time.
Despite Fulham’s adamant stance that their star would not be sold this summer, Mitrovic is rumoured to be open to the prospect of moving to Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Pro League has expressed interest in hiring manager Marco Silva, although it is unclear how long he will stay with the team.
Joao Palhinha is a target for London rivals West Ham, so Silva wants to make more investments in the team that placed tenth last year and is eager to maintain important players.
Igor from Fiorentina and Morato from Benfica are two defensive players that Fulham is interested in signing.
Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly are already on the Saudi Arabian team, and they are apparently close to signing Mitrovic’s international counterpart, Sergej Milinkovi-Savi.
