The president of Gremio, Alberto Guerra, has stated that Bitello is being pursued by a number of clubs.
Despite spending a record £105 million on both Kai Havertz and West Ham captain Declan Rice, Arsenal has been heavily linked with a bid for the 23-year-old.
Granit Xhaka has already departed the Gunners, and Thomas Partey might do the same as Mikel Arteta’s midfield is rebuilt.
After finishing last season on loan at Crystal Palace, Albert Sambi Lokonga has also been mentioned in transfer rumors.
Bitello allegedly caught the attention of the Gunners when he helped Gremio ascend to the top division last season with seven goals and four assists in 34 games across all competitions.
The uncapped Brazilian can play right wing, a variety of midfield positions, and Guerra claims that many clubs are keeping an eye on him.
He told Rede Sul: “There are many people watching Bitello, but there is currently no proposal, even to reassure our fans.”
