According to a story from tonight’s Le Parisien, PSG is attempting to recruit Dusan Vlahovic, a striker for Juventus and a Serbian international. According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain prioritises signing the 23-year-old to improve their offensive options. Hugo Ekitike is the only pure striker in Luis Enrique’s lineup right now because Mauro Icardi is about to sign with Galatasaray. The 21-year-old only has four goals and the same number of assists with Les Parisiens previous season. The former forward for Stade de Reims will be placed on the transfer list.
According to the French publication, PSG has not yet submitted a proposal to Juventus for Vlahovi. The Ligue 1 champions, though, have asked the Serbian about his plans. Vlahovic reportedly has a strong desire to relocate to the French capital. The fact that PSG’s other objectives appear to be out of reach may help to explain why they are pursuing the Serbian. Inter now has Marcus Thuram on board. The 29-year-old Harry Kane has agreed to sign with Bayern Munich, but it will cost a staggering €180 million to get Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen. Arriving Vlahovi would be a part of PSG’s strategy to create a versatile and complementing attacking force, with Kylian Mbappé at its centre.
