According to Sport Bild, Harry Kane is a transfer target who is interested in winning the Champions League with Bayern.
The captain of Tottenham Hotspur and head coach Thomas Tuchel have even met in person at the latter’s London residence. The 29-year-old attacker acknowledged that winning trophies, and the Champions League in particular, is highly tempting to him during these conversations.
Why else would it not be? The all-time leading scorer for England and Spurs has only won one prize in his professional career, the Audi Cup in 2019. Ironically, that occurred at the Allianz Arena versus Bayern Munich.
Bayern has previously had a roughly €70 million Kane offer rejected. However, it’s likely that a follow-up offer will be made soon. The striker’s current deal expires in 2024, and he might threaten to forgo a contract extension and sign a free transfer the following summer. Bayern has also given this some thought, although they would like to have Kane join them for the upcoming season.
While Bayern are scheduled to report to their training camp in Tegernsee on July 15, Spurs are preparing for a preseason tour of Asia. Bayern would prefer to avoid sending Kane on the trip and close the deal.
