The 22-year-old has been the subject of recent interest from the Gunners, who apparently have now agreed to pay the Eredivisie team €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

Now that Timber has received clearance, he may visit Arsenal for a physical and talk about personal terms.

The center back had more than 120 appearances for the Ajax senior team, which won the Eredivisie championship in 2021 and 2022. He can also play on the right side of the defense.Additionally, Timber has 15 caps for the Netherlands’ national team.

He is anticipated to join Kai Havertz from Chelsea as Mikel Arteta’s second acquisition of the summer transfer season.
