Black Sherif nominated for Best African Act at the 16th Headies Awards

Young and energetic Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has been nominated for the 16th Headies Award, which will be held in Nigeria, as a result of being recognised for his incredible talent.

The Hip Hop World Awards, which were established in 2006, were formerly known as the Headies Awards. It honours and celebrates Africa’s entertainment industry’s top musicians.
The deadline for submissions for the 2023 edition of Nigeria’s biggest and most anticipated music awards show was June 16. The event’s organisers also released a statement in the early hours of Wednesday, July 12 regarding the people who had been nominated.

The singer of “Kwaku The Traveller” was up for “African Artiste Of The Year,” competing against people like Rema, Burna Boy, Marwa Loud, and Diamond Platnumz.

The general public does not yet know the time or location of the prestigious award ceremony.
