In what can only be described as an extraordinary feat, the Asogli Yam Festival Concert managed to pull in a staggering crowd of over 15,000 attendees. This unexpected triumph was orchestrated through the combined efforts of top-notch production by Events 21 and the promotional expertise of the seasoned publicist Elorm Beenie, who heads Beenie Words. The event, aptly named “Time With The Stars,” featured five major headliners: Edem, Camidoh, Cina Soul, Chief One, and Keeny Ice. It took place on the Forecourt of White House in Ho on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

The “Time With The Stars” Concert was held in conjunction with this year’s Asogli Yam Festival Celebrations and marked the 20th Anniversary of the Paramount Chief of The Asogli State, Agbogbomefia Togbe Afede XIV. Lasting for an impressive 8 hours, the street carnival primarily showcased indigenous talents, including musicians and dancers, to shine a brighter spotlight on this year’s activities organized by The Asogli State.

The event featured a lineup of young and burgeoning talents who had the opportunity to grace the stage. Enamily, Tuf B, Rizzlah Stylah, Rasta Boy (Klante Nation), Blaze Bwoy, Weezy Bwoy, Big Rhino, Joey Mulla, Kayrien, SameKidd, and many others showcased their skills and entertained the enthusiastic crowd.

Taking on the role of MCs for this historic event were DiscMaster Bone of West 97.5FM, Selekta Bonthy of Ho 92.5FM, and MCee Flexal of Swiss 93.7FM. DJ Cyril of Stonecity 90.7FM ensured the music kept the audience in high spirits throughout the event.

The Asogli Yam Festival Concert was made possible through the generous funding provided by Togbe Afede XIV and the Asogli State. The overwhelming turnout and success of the event serve as a testament to the power of collaboration and the allure of music in bringing communities together for celebration.
