‘Agreement in principle’ has been struck between Marcus Rashford and Manchester United on a new, long-term contract at Old Trafford.

In order to extend his current contract, which expires next summer, Rashford has been in talks with the club. The two parties have now settled on a five-year deal.
According to The Athletic, the 25-year-old will sign a new contract with Manchester United that will last until 2028. The England international is said to have turned down “more lucrative offers” from both England and abroad in order to remain with the Red Devils.

The signing of Rashford is a significant boost for the team as it prepares for the upcoming Premier League season. The attacker scored 30 goals in all competitions during his career-best performance in 2022–2023.
