The loan signing of Galatasaray playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo by Aston Villa has been officially announced.
The Villans will reportedly pay their Turkish counterparts a £3 million loan fee with a rumoured £19 million option to make the arrangement permanent.
Emiliano Buenda, who is facing numerous mouths out, is covered by the Italy international who joins Unai Emery’s team.
After acquiring Zaniolo from Inter in 2018, Villa’s new sporting director Monchi previously collaborated with Zaniolo at Roma.
Zaniolo, who spent five years with Roma before joining Galatasaray in February, scored five goals in 12 games while playing in Turkey.
