Declan Rice will have a physical today at Arsenal before finalizing his £105 million club-record transfer to the team.

The West Ham captain has been signed by Arsenal in a record-breaking deal, making Rice the most expensive British footballer in history.
The 24-year-old midfielder is expected to complete his transfer to Arsenal on Friday, according to Fabrizio Romano, who also confirmed that the Gunners have scheduled medical exams for the player before making an official announcement.
Mikel Arteta, who named Rice his top transfer goal for the summer transfer window, will make a statement with his new acquisition.

As West Ham won the Europa Conference League last year, Rice led the team to its first major trophy in 43 years and was awarded the competition’s Player of the Season. He emphasized his position as one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League after dominating his division in ball recoveries and interceptions.

After Granit Xhaka, a Swiss international, finalized a move to Bayer Leverkusen, the midfielder will take Granit Xhaka’s spot in north London. Xhaka has agreed to a five-year contract for €25 million (£21.4 million) with Bundesliga club Leverkusen.

Additionally, Jurrien Timber’s transfer from Ajax is about to be finalized by Arsenal, and the Dutch defender is scheduled to have a physical on Friday.
