THREE POSSIBLE SUBSTITUTES FOR KYLIAN MBAPPE AFTER HIS DEPARTURE

Sports

With every day that goes by, Kylian Mbappe’s future seems to be moving farther and further away from Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently said that Mbappe would not be allowed to go for free next year and stressed that he should sign an agreement to continue with the club, which has added spice to the issue.
Mbappe has insisted that he wants to be a part of the club next season, but he doesn’t seem interested in extending his contract through the summer of 2019.

Permanent suitors Real Madrid has been suggested as a possible destination, and Premier League powerhouse Liverpool is apparently contemplating a massive bid for the French superstar.

Mbappe’s departure from the club appears inevitable, thus Les Parisiens will eventually need to find a replacement.

The three players PSG may sign this summer to serve as a long-term successor for Mbappe are listed below.

Randal Kolo Muani

According to reports, PSG has recently stepped up their pursuit of the Eintracht Frankfurt forward in their search for elite attacking reinforcements.

Kolo Muani had a standout 2022–23 season, recording double digits in goals and assists while also seeing a sevenfold increase in his worth.

Frankfurt wants a staggering €90 million, but PSG is willing to break the bank for Kolo Muani because they think he is worth it.

The 24-year-old is an excellent Mbappe substitute since he can play both as a center forward and on the flanks.

Victor Osimhen

This summer, Victor Osimhen’s name has been frequently associated with PSG because sporting advisor Luis Campos wants to make the Napoli player his signature acquisition.

Campos previously collaborated with the Nigerian striker at Lille, and the two are currently seeking a reconnection.

After a successful season with Napoli, whom he assisted in winning the Serie A championship for the first time in 33 years, the Super Eagles player has elevated himself to the group of great attackers.

The 24-year-old faces further competition, but his prospects of leaving the Partenopei in the summer are minimal because he is almost certain to sign a contract extension.

Ousmane Dembele

If Mbappe goes this summer, according to a new Foot Mercato story, PSG has identified Ousmane Dembele as a possible target.

Since Dembele has frequently been associated with a relocation to the French capital, the phrase “Dembele” is identical with “Les Parisiens.”

The contract situation for the French winger at Barcelona is also very interesting. His contract, which is up in 2024, can be renewed this summer for €50 million.

Barca are hopeful about renewing his contract, though. Dembele is also willing to continue growing at Camp Nou after having his career revitalized by Xavi.
