Tottenham eyeing move for Chelsea midfielder amidst Højbjerg exit

Tottenham is still eager to replace Pierre-Emile Hjbjerg and is searching all of London for a prospective successor.

According to a story published in the Telegraph on Wednesday morning, Spurs are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this month.
Atlético de Madrid and Bundesliga teams are interested in signing Hjbjerg, and Ange Postecoglou’s team would be open to letting him go.

Although it is said that Mauricio Pochettino likes Gallagher, the choice to sell may be made for him if Stamford Bridge has to raise money.

The England international is seen to be a player who, if he were to leave this summer, could fetch up to £50 million, with Aston Villa also being linked to his services.

James Maddison has already been signed by Tottenham as a midfielder, while Tanguy Ndombele is back after a fruitful loan stint in Italy, where he won the Scudetto with Napoli.
