INTER MILAN INTERESTED IN ATALANTA CENTRE-BACK GIORGIO SCALVINI

Giorgio Scalvini, a center-back for Atalanta, has caught the attention of Inter Milan in preparation for a possible summer transfer.

Inter intends to bolster the defense before the transfer window closes, having recently confirmed the signing of striker Marko Arnautovic.
Although Yann Bisseck has previously signed this transfer window, the Nerazzurri are still looking to bolster their defense with a defender with Premier League experience.
Giorgio Scalvini, a player on Demiral’s Atalanta club who has long been wanted by the Nerazzurri, is now the focus of Inter’s interest.

The 19-year-old established himself as one of Europe’s most promising young players last season after an outstanding debut performance.

Scalvini, who is seen as Italy’s future, has already earned four caps for his country.

La Dea, though, is adamant about holding onto the Italian as they attempt to raise the bar in Serie A this year.

The Bergamo team doesn’t want to see their squad depth deteriorate further after already losing Rasmus Hojlund and with Demiral, Duvan Zapata, and Luis Muriel getting closer to the exit.

Scalvini is valued at over €40 million, making him an unlikely target for Inter, who are reportedly out of money after paying heavily on a number of players this summer.

The Nerazzurri are also interested in Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea.

This Sunday’s Serie A season opener for Simone Inzaghi’s team will be against Monza.
