KYLIAN MBAPPE RETURNS TO PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN FOR TRAINING AND INFORMS LUIS ENRIQUE OF HIS DECISION

The talks about Kylian Mbappe’s future are expected to pick up this week as the Paris Saint-Germain striker returns to training on Monday.

Mbappe has been given a maximum of 10 days by CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi to decide whether to stay with PSG or leave the team this summer for a fee. Mbappe has not chosen one of those paths and, according to Relevo, has informed club manager Luis Enrique of his intention to stay with the team this year.

Mbappe’s mother and agent Fayza Lamari will meet with PSG in the coming days as PSG is adamant they won’t lose Mbappe for nothing.

Mbappe appears to solely be interested in moving to Real Madrid, and PSG appear to have little control over it. A deal to lure Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer will see both parties lose more money than the alternative, although Mbappe can join Los Blancos for free next year.

They both take a minor chance that the other won’t agree to an agreement for the following season, although this seems extremely unlikely. Mbappe has complete control of the situation, putting PSG in a precarious position to achieve one of their goals.
