Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have discussed Ousmane Dembele’s potential transfer.
In 2017, the 26-year-old moved from Borussia Dortmund to Camp Nou in a deal of an initial £90 million, becoming one of the most expensive players in the world.
Due to various injury issues, his six seasons in Spain have only resulted in 127 La Liga appearances (an average of little over 21 games each campaign), and he has yet to score more than eight league goals in a single season.
Barcelona has been in talks with Dembele about extending the two-year deal he signed in July 2022, when he was heavily associated with leaving the club, despite his inconsistent play and problems to keep in shape.
Sources have stated that PSG and Barcelona have spoken about a possible transfer for Dembele, who could be had for as little as £42.9 million (€50 million) before July 31 due to a release clause in his contract.
