Victor Osimhen of Napoli is the subject of a bid from Paris Saint-Germain, although that bid is reportedly lesser than what the Partenopei are seeking.
According to a report in Il Mattino today, PSG has made a €110 million offer to Napoli, but Osimhen’s agency is also aware that the Nigerian won’t be allowed to go for that amount. Currently, PSG are reluctant to pay Napoli’s high asking price for the striker.
Osimhen does not want to push through a Napoli move despite PSG’s willingness to pay him €12 million each season, despite the fact that it is an attractive prospect. Since there is no time limit on when the striker must depart, there is still the perception at Napoli that a more “indecent” offer may come in after August 15.
As Luis Enrique is rumoured to be “crazy” with the Nigerian, Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda is optimistic that PSG will make another offer and Nasser Al-Khelaifi would somehow better the present one. Next week, there could be some further developments, with Manchester United only looking on from the sidelines.
