A group of adults with intellectual disability (ID) and autism spectrum disorder always want to be able to do things on their own, but because of the nature of their illness, they need more care. Adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities have not received much attention in the media.

The GHANAFEST TORONTO made a donation to the Klicks Africa Foundation as part of its social responsibility program to raise awareness for this kind of handicap. The latter in Ghana provides care for people with this particular condition.

Their ambassador Oppong De-Graft Amponsah oversaw the donation, and he said it was made to provide a welcoming environment for adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities to mark the 1st of JULY CANADA DAY CELEBRATION

Canada Day, originally known as “Dominion Day,” is the country’s national holiday and celebrates the union of the three British colonies in North America into a single confederation.

Artists like Lord Paper Ricchie Ricch, a Ghanaian who now resides in Canada and was once signed to the Ghanaian label BAM Bosom PYung, Dymo Music, and other notable visitors were also present to support the Godly course by Ghana Fest Canada.

This donation is made in advance of their annual Ghana-fest, which begins on August 6, 2023. Ontario, Canada
