JADON SANCHO BANNED FROM EATING WITH FIRST-TEAM SQUAD’ AS EXILE WORSENS

Jadon Sancho’s prospects at Manchester United are increasingly grim following reports of his banishment from all first-team facilities at the club, including team dining areas.

Sancho’s exile from the senior squad stems from his public accusation that manager Erik ten Hag lied about the reasons for omitting him from the matchday squad against Arsenal earlier this month. Ten Hag had cited Sancho’s poor training performance as the cause, but Sancho refuted this claim on social media, alleging that he was unfairly made a “scapegoat.”

Although Sancho deleted his post, his return to the squad remains uncertain. According to The Daily Mirror, he is currently training with the academy and is not allowed access to any first-team facilities at the Carrington training ground, including dining with senior squad members. As a result, Sancho now shares meals with academy players.

Last week, Ten Hag faced questions about reports of dressing room unrest due to his handling of the Sancho situation and other matters at the club. While he did not explicitly deny the reports, he acknowledged the opinions and stated that the focus remains on their upcoming game against Burnley, emphasizing the need for a strong performance against a challenging opponent.
